Due to the constantly changing tax code in individual states, we do not offer any type of affiliate marketing programs.  Due to the commissions the affiliate marketers receive, many states have recently determined that affiliate marketers are sales agents for the companies they work with, opening the companies up to sales tax liability in whatever state the affiliate marketer resides.  Some of the most recent states to impose this are New York, Rhode Island and North Carolina.  Green Lighting Supply does not oppose sales tax, unfortunately, there are so many variations in City, County and State tax law that it becomes cost prohibitive to manage the sales tax.  Green Lighting Supply appreciates the need for sales tax to help our government function and does support an interstate flat tax rate that would be filed under one return.
